Final Germany photos {Munich}, and not too many due to the piece-of-crap-memory-card incident. Luckily I got a few on some other cards, so here they are. Unfortunately my photos of the Shakira Café and Michael Jackson Shrine are irretrievable -- but others have documented them here and here, in all their bizarre glory.
Munich.
Town Hall.
& Blue Skies.
Town Hall Courtyard.
External spiral staircase; very Blois-esque.
Ratskeller.
Sunshine in the grand place.
Fountains for luck.
Shopping streets are the best streets.
Cameos cameos cameos.
Drogerie Parfümerie.
Wurstwaren.
Inside a famous gourmet food store.
How amazing are those wooden deer heads ?
Chocolates.
Miniature tarts.
Fröliche Ostern, Happy Easter.
Coffees.
Back outside in busy Munich.
Heading towards the Frauenkirche in the haze.
Frauenkirche.
Inside.
Ceiling.
The church dates to the fifteenth-century.
Therefore it doesn't disappoint in terms of polychromy.
Amazing. Look at that dragon Saint George/Michael is trampling,
it looks like Jabba the Hutt.
Oh hey Saint Christopher.
Also plenty of skullz.
On a weathered exterior tomb plaque.
Lovely restaurants in the church square.
And the mack daddy pretzel of the entire trip; delicious.
Pink.
Getting ready to depart Munich; we had a brief taste of this
lovely city and I know I will go back to explore it one day.
Hell wie der lichte Tag, means "bright as the light of day."
Fun to people-watch in Munich.
A busy city.
Auf Wiedersehen, Deutschland.
It's been real.
xx
