the winter sat lang

In which one of the Ya-Ya's (Ash) visits and we have a marathon day in Edinburgh. And when I say marathon, I mean that we got on the train at 6:37 am and arrived back in York at half-past midnight. I challenge you to find a more intense day tripper than me. And this is just the beginning...

Part I: Edinburgh By Day.

Good Morning Edinburgh.

I walked down to the National Gallery of Art while Ash did the castle.

More Stairs to Nowhere.

Edinburgh Castle from below the volcano.

Christmas Markets all around.

Happy ever after in the market place.

From just outside the National Gallery.

Back up to the Royal Mile.

Some closes.

Which I've probably already put up.

Christmas Close.

Then a stop at The Birthplace Of Harry Potter for lunch & caff.

Harry Potter graffiti in the bathroom, lol.

Best one: "Flush twice for Ministry of Magic."

Another favourite.

The coffee shop overlooks Edinburgh Castle.

Us in Greyfriars Kirkyard, just behind Elephant House.

Wintry blue Edinburgh skies and shadows.

I think I've posted this before too but I don't care because
I <3 Edinburgh.

Hitting up Holyroodhouse.

Just chillin' by Mary QoS's tower, nbd.

Holyrood Abbey.

Abbey Vogue.

LYFE GOD ABVEE AL AND YI NYCHTBOVR AS YI SELF.

But Edinburgh is a mad god's dream.
xx

Part II: Edinburgh By Night.

St. Giles Cathedral in the bg.

Edinburgh Castle lit up.

National Gallery.

German Christmas Market.

Happy ever after in the market place.

GERMAN PRETZELS YES.

A Christmas amusement fair.

With ice rink !

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide.
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride.
'Til I get to the bottom and I see you again.
YEAH YEAH YEAH.
xx

{Can you guess which city is next ? ^^^}
